I just wanted to keep you a little up to date on what is happening with Sticky.
I have slowed the project down a little because I am trying to include some more complicated things (like in memory unzipping etc). Such things will make the app much faster and feature rich compared to the previous version.
I am also trying to maintain support for the existing skin image file types of the previous Visual Basic version (being bmp, gif and jpg) and some new ones like animated Gifs. Sounds simple, and in VB it definitely is, but not C++. I would also like to add PNG support, but that might have to wait for the next version.

I just got several emails with comments and suggestions for future app changes. I am in a constant state of development with these applications, albeit slowly. If you have any ideas for any of the existing apps, or even a new application idea, please email them to me. I would love to have more ideas. Without them, all you will get are my ideas...
I have been working on the new Sticky build and it is going really well. I have been able to build a release version (finally!!!). There are a couple of things to iron out like transparency and layered region support for XP. Initially it should run very well on W2K and XP. Hopefully it will also support the older OSs.
It will be good, oh yes, it will be good.
